Traveling Project Manager

Trillium Construction is hiring for a Traveling Project Manager to oversee ground-up construction projects throughout Illinois, and around the country.

This is a direct-hire, full-time position!

Duties:
-Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
-Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
-Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
-Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
-Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
-Create and manage a construction project budget
-Provide all administrative responsibility such as: issuing Owner and -Subcontract agreements, scheduling, change order management, shop drawings, RFI’s, related day-to-day correspondence, etc. 

Compensation:
-Annual salary between $70,000 - $150,000, depending on experience
-Per diem
-Company vehicle and gas card
-Medical insurance, HSA for vision and dental

Qualifications:
-Previous experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Superintendent working on commercial or industrial new construction projects with values between $500,000 - $3 million
-Proficiency with MS Office programs, MS Project, and Timberline preferred
-Ability to travel extensively
